“We Shall Overcome “?

Dream : I had managed to escape the governmental mess, was living in a small bit of housing — a kitchen and a room — and trying to contact other escapees, we were at a godawful public event, exchanging glances while the President of the United States complained about his wife forbidding him his favorite foods, his doctor was attempting to save the day by standing up and declaring his total support for the President who was then seen, bare-chested, sweating and having a hard time of it at the back of a gym hall, unable to keep up to the rhythm of the exercices.

Camille is supposed to rush by around 9 so that we can finalize the elements of the presentation (and organize the illustrations correctly), so it’s rapid morning pace over here this morning.
Illustration over here : the side of the storage space in the kitchen on which I glued the “authorization certificates” one had to self-authorize one’s self for a walk in a one-kilometer radius from one’s front door, no, not during the terrible mustache epidemic of 1890, during the terrible epidemic of Covid-19 where an old woman I know saw herself fined for having stood at less than a meter away from a (closed) window at the Old People’s Home, for a short visual visit to her Alzheimer-afflicted husband. (Personally, a gendarme had given me a verbal warning because I’d omitted noting the time I’d left the house, so I could have been wandering around for hours, just think.)
Human genius at work.
“We Shall Overcome” ? I’m not so sure about that. What’s for certain is that, given the selection of “geniuses” at work, the obstacles are growing both in volume and in height.
