Revenir –

Luxe d’une semaine entière hors-circuit et consacrée à l’écriture. Dans mon cas: une première. Bilan: révision d’un texte (en français) presque achevée, et les premières lueurs d’un autre (en anglais) qui nécessitera des temps hors-circuit, lui aussi. C’est-à-dire hors demandes et chamboulements ou alors, en développant une capacité surnaturelle à y répondre mais aussi… à  m’en abstraire.

Entretemps, c’est le retour au quotidien, avec un immense merci à La Lisière et à mes deux camarades en écriture, pour les périodes ininterrompues d’isolement et pour les échanges animés aussi.

Returning

The luxury of an entire week off the beaten track and devoted to writing. A first for me. Results: one revision (in French) almost finished, and the first glimmers of  another   (in English) that will also need more time-outs away from demands and upheavals  – or the acquisition on my part of a supernatural ability to respond but also…to  abstract myself from them.

In the meantime, it’s back to daily living with  a huge thank you to La Lisière and to my two comrades in writing, for the uninterrupted periods of isolation and for the lively interactions too.
