Et là, je bois du thé, il fait beau, un coq chante au loin, depuis le lit, le chat m’observe et je garde un oeil sur l’heure afin de ne pas rater le bus pour Gaillac et le rendez-vous avec le généraliste.

Hier, sur The New York Times, le gros titre allait au fait que certains des investisseurs dans les affaires de Elon Musk se verraient promus au rang de millionaires, avec son entrée en bourses. Ça volait la vedette aux mois de travail des journalistes sur le dossier Epstein; “money makes the world go round”, du moins dans le monde tel qu’il est défini en ce moment et livré à toutes les consciences, à coup de haine et d’envie, dévoré par la valeur marchande, y compris celle des enfants.

Yesterday, the top spot in the news on The New York Times went to the fact some investors in Elon Musk’s business would find themselves promoted to the rank of millionaires with his entry on the stock exchange. This took precedence on the months of work of journalists on the Epstein files; “money makes the world go round”, at least in the world as it is defined and rammed into everyone’s consciousness at the moment, along with hatred and envy, devoured by the value as merchandise, including that of children.
