Rêves : des gens se lamentaient – concert de lamentations, en fait – pendant que des Américains ordinaires vaquaient à leurs affaires comme si de rien n’était; deux visiteurs d’Israël – une femme obèse follement amoureuse de son mari taciturne – je dois leur faire visiter la ville pour ensuite rejoindre des jeunes, mais comme personne n’a de téléphone et qu’on n’a pas fixé le lieu de rendez-vous, il n’a pas lieu; puis, de ma fenêtre, je regarde dehors, mais il n’y a rien à voir, tout est blanc, pire qu’un brouillard, un “white-out” comme au plus fort d’une tempête de neige.

Pour ce qui est du couple israélien, je sais que je voulais publier une nouvelle de Haaretz hier sur la page facebook de Maria Damcheva, mais comme il y avait déjà trop d’information, je ne l’ai pas fait : il s’agissait de Trump s’obstinant sur son projet de Gaza-Riviera alors que les Etats arabes en rejetaient ouvertement l’idée. Son insistance était particulièrement dégoûtante car il prétendait vouloir épargner aux Palestiniens “l’inhumanité” de vivre dans les décombres pendant la reconstruction…Trump prétendant agir pour des raisons humanitaires, c’est particulièrement dur à avaler.

Mais la journée fut surtout consacré au projet d’une série d’articles à développer pour les humanités concernant la main-mise des milliardaires de la Silicon Valley sur le gouvernement américain – et leurs valeureux imitateurs, ici comme ailleurs. Conversation prévue à midi avec Jean-Marc Adolphe sur l’organisation du travail. Dire qu’il y a matière à partager sur les visées de ceux qu’on appelle les “cryptos-bros” – confraternels, ils ne le sont guère – et sur leur candidat en embuscade (non, pas Elon Musk, J.D. Vance, le vice-président qui attend son heure); et sur Elon Musk aussi, bien sûr, celui qui capte toute la lumière en ce moment ayant, à lui seul, doublé au poteau tous ses concurrents, question quantité de fric investi et notoriété publique grâce à X – ex Twitter. Sans oublier les 10 “freedom cities” dont Trump parlait en 2023, à construire sur des terres appartenant au gouvernement fédéral (parcs nationaux, pour dire les choses clairement.) Mais c’était en 2023 et il raconte tellement de trucs délirants, n’est-ce pas ? Sauf qu’ il parlait déjà de la guerre commerciale qu’il comptait mener et les “freedom cities” en question font justement partie des projets des milliardaires, alors…

Quant au “white-out” du rêve, il est vrai que je n’ai pas trouvé de temps à consacrer à L’Horloger dans ce maelstrom d’information, mais pour ce qui est de préciser la ligne des événements menant de 1974 dans la Vallée des Brumes à 2180 dans l’observatoire souterrain de Pharos, il y a de quoi s’alimenter l’esprit.

Voilà. Kadima, davaï dans le blanc total d’un avenir totalement imprévisible, sauf pour ce qui est d’un chaos dont on ne connaît pas encore les formes multiples qu’il revêtira.

As pertains to the Israeli couple, I know I wanted to publish a piece of news from Haaretz yesterday on my Maria Damcheva facebook page, but there was already a surfeit of news, so I didn’t: it was about Trump holding out on his Gaza-Riviera project despite the Arab states rejecting the idea openly. His insistence was particularly disgusting as he claimed he wanted to spare the Palestinians the “inhumanity” of living in the rubble during reconstruction… Trump claiming to act for humane reasons is hard to swallow.

But the day was mostly taken up by a project of a series of articles to develop for les humanités concerning the take-over of the American government by the Silicon Valley billionaires – and their brave imitators elsewhere. Conversation planned for noon with Jean-Marc Adolphe concerning the organization of the work. Saying there is plenty to share concerning the aims of those now called the “cryptos-bros” – although brotherly, they are not really – and their candidate waiting his turn (no, not J.D. Vance, the vice-president waiting for his turn at the helm); and about Elon Musk also, of course, who is the one basking in the light at the moment since he doubled all his competitors, both in amount of money invested and in public notoriety thanks to X – ex Twitter. Not to mention the 10 “freedom cities” Trump talked about in 2023, to be built on lands belonging to the federal government (national parks, to state things clearly). But this was in 2023 and he blathers on about so many outlandish things, right? But he was already mentioning the tariff war he intended to hold and those “freedom cities” are precisely part of the billionaires plans, so…

As for the “white-out” in the dream, true enough, I didn’t find any time for L’Horloger in this malestrom of information, but as far as clarifying the trend of events leading from 1974 in Fog Valley to 2180 in the Pharos underground observation post, there is much to feed the mind.
