J’hébergeais quelqu’un (ou elle m’hébergeait, ça n’était pas très clair) dans un logement de fortune, nous convenions de partir à la recherche de solutions, mais comme je n’avais pas de téléphone, je la perdais de vue alors qu’elle rejoignait quelqu’un d’autre, puis je les retrouvais par hasard au milieu d’une foule qui errait, désemparée, et nous partions toutes les trois à la recherche de moyens de nous rendre utiles, ce qui n’était pas évident.

(L’espèce de jardin de dessin animé a certainement quelque chose à voir avec le dessin Les 3 Larrons: Retour du Bhoutan que le gamin dans L’Horloger des Brumes s’imagine être une représentation de ce qu’il appelle “le monde en-haut”, puisque le dessin comporte le bleu en-haut avec un croissant jaune qu’il voit parfois lui-même durant la Saison Claire).

(The kind of cartoonish garden certainly has something to do with the drawing The 3 Stooges: Return from Bhoutan that the boy in The Watchmaker imagines to be a representation of what he calls “the world up there” since the drawing includes the blue up-there with a yellow crescent he sees sometimes himself during the Clear Season.)
