Les violents – l’occasion est trop belle pour les amoureux de la casse, et les chez les policiers et chez les “black blocks” dont on ne sait rien puisqu’ils sont masqués. Curieux qu’ils ne figurent pas massivement parmi les “interpellés” parmi lesquels se retrouvent des personnes qui s’imaginent encore qu’on puisse manifester dans la joie et la bonne humeur. “Faire du chiffre” en matière d’interpellations, voilà ce qui compte pour le ministre de l’intérieur. Et qu’est-ce qu’un pouce arrachée, ici ou là, quand il s’agit de “réprimer la violence”.

Pourquoi le gouvernement ne recule pas ? Parce qu’il, d’abord et avant tout, au service de cette chose bizarre qu’on appelle “l’économie”comme si l’humain avait été créé pour honorer le néolibéralisme.

La “constitution économique” qui gouverne en parallèle des constitutions étatiques ? FMI, OMC, et leurs multiples niveaux d’interventions. L’objectif ? “…to prevent state projects of egalitarian redistribution and secure competition, alternatively defined as the optimal functioning of the price-signaling system.” (“…bloquer les projets étatiques de redistribution égalitaire et assurer la concurrence, aussi défini comme le fonctionnement optimal du système de l’indice des prix.”

L’arrière-plan, en somme, sur lequel se jouent les drames, les tragédies et les farces grotesques de vies humaines escomptées à partir du moment où leur travail ne contribuent pas ou plus à la production de la valeur ajoutée sans laquelle l’économie néolibérale se met à tourner à vide.

Ici, maintenant ? Fonctionnement au ralenti, le dosage accru ne semble guère améliorer le bilan. Fatigue. J’écris par plages, entrecoupées de pauses.

The violent ones – the opportunity is irresistible for lovers of smashing things, be they policemen or “black blocs” of whom we know nothing since they are masked. Odd that they don’t appear massively among the arrested among which are found people who still imagine one can demonstrate joyfully and with good humor. Upping the score in terms of arrests, that’s what counts for the Minister of the Interior. What’s a ripped off thumb, here or there, when one is “repressing violence”.

Why does the government not back down? Because, first and foremost, it is at the service of that odd thing called “the economy” as if humans had been created to honor neoliberalism.

The economic constitution” governing operating in parallel with State constitutions ? IMF, WTO, and their multiple intervention levels. The goal ? “…to prevent state projects of egalitarian redistribution and secure competition, alternatively defined as the optimal functioning of the price-signaling system.”

In other words, the background in front of which play out the dramas, tragedies and grotesque farces of human lives discounted from the moment where their labor does not or no longer contributes to the production of the added value without which the neoliberal economy starts running on empty.
