Je poursuis la révision. Outre certaines longueurs qui n’apportent pas grand chose au récit, je trouve que le titre de travail ne colle pas vraiment à l’histoire; de un; de deux que l’oeil a besoin de plus d’espace entre ce qui constituent des chapitres ou des moments distincts dans la progression du récit. Un découpage qui permette à l’oeil de respirer, de prendre le temps d’absorber ce qui vient d’être lu, plutôt que de tout absorber dans une suite de paragraphes serrés.

Et de trois: soit par le biais des citations, soit autrement, rehausser l’aspect de l’ironie qui constitue, au fond, le moyen de défense préféré du personnage principal. Équilibre que je n’arrive pas à trouver. Comme pour l’équilibre sur le fil de fer, les conseils sont utiles mais l’équilibre, lui, vient du corps ou pas du tout.

Autre chose ? Non, si ce n’est beaucoup de confusion au réveil. En écriture, l’impression d’être attendue, là où je n’ai aucune intention d’aller. Reprise des classes au cirque, ce matin. Dehors: temps sombre et gris.

Still in the ongoing revision. Besides some lengthy bits that don’t contribute much to the story, I find the working title doesn’t really match it; for one; secondly, , I think the eye needs more space between what make up the chapters or separate moments in the progression of the story. A layout that allows the eye some breathing space, time to absorb what has just been read instead of swallowing it all down in tight paragraphs.

And thirdly: either through the quotes or otherwise, accentuate the ironic aspect which is basically the main character’s favorite defensive approach. A balance I strive and fail to achieve. Like with walking on a tight rope, advice is useful but the blance, only comes from the body or not at all.

Anything else? No, if not a lot of confusion upon waking. In writing, the feeling of being expected where I have no intention of going. Classes reconvene at the circus this morning. Outside: the day is dark and grey.
