Moi aussi, cela va sans dire. À mon âge, il était plus que temps que je l’apprenne.

En d’autres mots, tous ces beaux esprits autour de Monsieur Poutine estiment que le monde est engagé dans un combat civilisationnelle existentielle qui demande, évidemment, la destruction de l’Empire du Mal (c’est nous, bonjour, ça va comme vous voulez ?) et le triomphe de l’Empire du Bien (c’est eux, chargés de la tâche de rectifier le parcours du monde “de Lisbonne à Vladivostok”…mais sûrement plus loin aussi, une fois réglé ce premier défi).

Voili voilou et il n’y a qu’à jeter un regard sur l’illustration de cet article pour constater l’état lamentable de la civilisation dont nous sommes les produits et qui fait de nous des nazis “pires que ceux du 3e Reich”. Ça doit être vrai, puisque l’agence de presse RIA Novosti le dit.

Seule bonne nouvelle aujourd’hui à l’extérieur de chez moi: la campagne pour l’élection présidentielle en France se termine ce soir à minuit. Une trève de 24 heures dans la guégerre absurde entre les douze (12 !)candidats zé candidates au Siège Suprême – avec le président actuel dans le rôle de Jésus-Christ à la Dernière Scène, peut-être?

And so, as stated by the political analyst Timofey Sergeyetsev on April 3rd in a column published by the official RIA Novosti agency in Russia, “…the West itself is collectively the creator, the source and the sponsor of Ukrainian Nazism.” Now there’s an enchanting prospect for oncoming days, and not only for Ukrainians. In other words, all these fine minds around Mr. Putin consider the world is embroiled in an existential, civilizational struggle that obviously calls for the destruction of the Empire of Evil (that’s us, hi, how are things?) and the triumph of the Empire of the Good (that’s them, tasked with the job of making things right “fom Lisbon to Vladivostok”…but certainly further afield also, once that first challenge is settled.)

There you go, and you only need to throw an eye on the illustration to this post to witness the lamentable state of the civilization of which we are the products and that makes of us Nazis “worse than those of the 3rd Reich.” Must be true if the RIA Novosti agency says so.

The only good news outside my door today: the French presidential electoral campaign ends tonight at midnight. Which means a 24 hour break in the ludicrous squabbles between the twelve (12!) candidates to the Supreme Seat – with the current President in the role of Jesus-Christ at the Last Supper, maybe?

But I stop here, the better to discover my deplorably nazificated identity. Damn. It does come as something of a shock, doesn’t it?
