Parfois c’est comme si

les mots restaient accrochés dans

des images de rêves

des images qui glissent juste

derrière les yeux

avec les mots qu’elles charrient

comme si tu n’avais pas à savoir

tout ce que les images de rêves

et les mots ont à se raconter

à ton insu.

 

Sometimes – 

Sometimes it’s as if

the words stayed hooked in

dream images

images gliding by just

behind the eyes

along with the words they are sweeping along

as if you were not meant to know

everything the dream images

and the words have to say to one another

outside your knowledge.
