Chose certaine, plus de 300 personnes ont assisté hier soir à la Fête des 18 ans organisée par l’Association Migrants Graulhet. Livres, boissons et repas (plus de 250) furent vendus au profit de l’association qui vient en aide aux migrants sur le territoire graulhétois.

Il régnait une ambiance bon enfant, grands et petits dansant au son de la fanfare; la Petite Rugissante a interprété un Naci en Alamo   au moins aussi beau que la version dans le film;  suivi d’une traversée africaine en chanson avec la chorale La Rugissante (les jeunes africains nous ont pardonné nos ‘drôles d’accents’). Sans parler des contes que les enfants avaient préparés avec Salim et le repas préparé et servi par les jeunes majeurs, le groupe Riddim et le DJ OGM…franchement, aucun besoin de discours pour savoir que la Fête des 18 ans en fut vraiment une.

What’s certain is that more than 300 people attended the 18th Birthday Party organized by Association Migrants Graulhet last night. Books, drinks and meals (more than 250) were sold to benefit the Association that gives assistance to migrants on the township’s territory.

The mood was festive and good humored: adults and children danced to the sound of the marching band. La Petite Rugissante interpreted a magnificent Naci en Alamo, at least as fine as the original from the film; followed by an African crossing in song by La Chorale La Rugissante (the young Africans forgave us our ‘funny accents’). Not to mention the tales the children had prepared with Salim, and the meal prepared and served by the young adults, the musical group Riddim and the DJ OGM…frankly, there was no need for speeches in order to know that the 18th Anniversary evening really and truly was a party.

We do it again next year? Sure thing.
