Scherzo –

Par mail, à vive voix sur le marché, les échos de la répression en cadence accélérée: le ministre de l’intérieur veut du “chiffre”. Le “chiffre” prend le nom et le visage de l’un, puis de l’une, puis de l’autre. Les avocats sont débordés, les “citoyens de bonne volonté” aussi, tout baigne, messieurs-dames, tout baigne et, bien sûr, vous n’y pouvez rien, c’est comme ça et ainsi de suite…

Et publier ceci, ça servira à quoi? À exprimer un moment de fatigue et de dégoût, parmi tant d’autres. Il y a des jours et des heures comme ça. Ils ont  besoin d’être déblayés pour faire place à autre chose. Mais pour l’heure, Fatigue, fatigue en accéléré.

Scherzo

By email, face to face at the outdoor market, echoes of the repression at an accelerating pace: the minister of the Interior wants “turnover”. The “turnover” takes on this name and face, then this one, then this other. The lawyers are overwhelmed, and so are the “good-willed citizens”, everything’s hunky-dory, ladies and gentlemen, everything’s just fine and, of course, there’s  not a thing you can do about it, that’s how it is, and so it goes…

And publishing this, what good will that do? It will serve to express a moment of fatigue and of disgust, among so many others. There are days and hours like that. They also need to get cleared away, to make room for the rest. But for now, fatigue, fatigue, accelerating.
