A little bit funny, as in: you find your humor where you can.
In the piece of fiction limping along in the background these days, some of the folks live in an area where no satellite signals get through. Reality mimicked fiction last night with medical personnel wandering across the grounds, in search of a signal.
hospital just called. Life takes precedence on blogging. She’ll be all right for now. Putting things in place with the doctor for the next phases, and picking her up within the hour or so.

Suicidal, the doctor asked. No, desperate for sleep, I said. She took two capsules instead of the half-capsule prescribed. Ergo, henceforth and from now on, her family keeps all medication out of reach.
For right now, I’m enjoying my time out over lunch with the phone shut down and gladness in my heart at finding this lovely artefact (see photo) sitting right downstairs in the house where I’m staying these days. Glad because one of the characters piped up and said: “hey! that’s from my place! Because of my family name, see? The bird?”
Ah-ha, says I, you’re so right.
But that’s as far as it goes for now because after an ultra short night and intense morning, I’m about to get to my morning shower, at last.
